Tulsa Original - Sundown Wheat

What is your favorite Marshall beer and why?

Sundown Wheat is a great light, easy-drinker. I’m a sucker for a good wheat beer and love the hints of orange. We recently put it on tap in our re-modeled Harvard location and there is no doubt some bias played into that decision. Good news is our RibCrib customers have been loving the addition.

Do you recall your first time trying your favorite Marshall beer?

I don’t recall the first time I had Sundown Wheat, but the first time I enjoyed a Marshall beer was at McNellie’s many years ago. I don’t recall which beer it was (maybe the McNellie’s Pub Ale) but I remember thinking ‘a beer from Tulsa?’. This was well before local-beer was the norm. It has been incredible watching the Tulsa beer scene explode – and there is no doubt, Marshall paved the way for all of them.


Where do you enjoy drinking your favorite Marshall beer?

It is a tie between the new taproom and my living room. The environment at the new Taproom is just awesome but I also love all the outlets I can now buy my favorite Marshall beers to enjoy in the comfort of my home. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
